General Information
Tham Lom-Tham Wang Forest Park located in Moo 7, Na Khun Krai Sub-district, Sri Samrong District, Sukhothai Province, situated in Mae Mok-Mae Pan Lam National Reserved Forest, covered the area of 8,5000 rais approximately. The Royal Forest Department declared this forest park on January 23, 1983.
Topography
Forest type around Tham Lom-Tham Wang is limestone mountain, laid north-southward included Nong Luang Mountain, Look Tak Mountain and a group of rocky mountain surrounded by
plain.
Flora and Fauna
Its natural forest type can be divided into 60% of Mixed Decicuous Forest, 35% of Dry Deciduous Dipterocarp Forest and 5% of exploited forest. Some part of the Mixed Deciduous Forest is comprising of obviously tree species grown. Those are teakwood, Thyrsostachys siamensis, Dry Deciduous Dipterocarp Forest and herbal plants. Flora species found consists of Grewia elatostemoides, Parinari anamense, Buchanania latifolia, Morinda sp., Xylia xylocarpa, eng, Malia azedarach, MALEUM, Sindora siamemsis, Vitex pinnata, Vitex glabrata,
etc.
Fauna found consists of bear, serow, monkey, snake, jungle fowl, squirrel, Indo-chinese ground squirrel, rabbit, bat and various bird
species.
Tourist Attractions
It is mountain alternated with plain. There are cave and cliff. Lom Cave is its unique cave. Very cool breeze. There are magnificent stalactites. Forest park is approximately 10 kms away from Tham Chao Ram Wildlife Sanctuary. When you are on top of the mountain, you can view the scenery of Sukhothai Historical Site (Old City) and Ram Kham Haeng Natinal Park

How to go?
By Car
There are 2 routes accessible the e to Tham Lom-Tham Wang Forest Park as follows:
From Sri Samrong District Market Sanitation, you can take the route no. 1056 through Ban Rai Sub-district-Ban Suntisuk, Ban Khao Din, Ban Choke Puay to the forest park. It is 45 kms
long.
From crossroad at the Sawankaloke Police Box, you can take the Highway no. 1046 through Ban Dong Thai-Ban Thanonporn, Tung Saliam District-Hua Fai School; and then turn left. You will pass Thep Panom Temple-Ban Namdib, Ban Choke Puay and get through the forest park.
