PHALANCHAI LAKE บึงพลาญชัย
The lake, situated in the heart of Roi Et township, is regarded the symbol of the province. It features
an island amidst a large size lake occupying an approximate area of 200,000 square meters. Being a
relaxation place, it is decorated with a large flowers garden of various species of trees giving shady
area to the place. There are several kinds of fish in the lake and boats for people to row are available.
In addition, various festivals within the area of Phalan Chai Lake are :
- City Pillar Shrine which is highly revered by Roi Et people.
- Large Walking Buddha image located amidst the garden.
- Pedestal in term of long leg bowl containing constitution book
and flower clock.
- Phu Phalan Chai featuring an imitating zoo and artifciai waterfall.
- Health corner where people can come for exercise.
- Children's playground.
