General Information
Pha Luang Waterfall Forest Park is located in Pa Dong Bhu Lon Forest Reserve in Ban Na Lern, Na Lern District, Sri Muang Mai Ampur, Ubon Rachathani Province. It is a forest park of 11,375 rais and was gazetted as Forest Park by Royal Forest Department on 4 September 1996.
Topography
The area is mountainous with many mountain ranges connected such as Bhu Paeng Ma (399 metres), Bhu Pra Srai (392 metres), Bhu Mee Yium (362 metres) and Bhu Pak Wan (282 metres) which is steep and there is rocky plateau on the top.
Flora and Fauna
Economically valuable tree species are Pterocarpus macrocarpus, Syzygium glaucum, Dalbergia oliveri, Dalbergia cochinchinensis, Dipterocarpus Spp., Shorea obtusa, Shorea siamensis, undergrowth and vines. Wildlife found today are Squirrel, Treeshrew, reptiles and
birds.
Tourist Attractions
On mountain
peaks, there are many caves but most are small ones. Important feature here is 20 metre tall waterfall dropping from the cliff to the pool below. Beautiful stony ground with steep cliff is found on the mountain
top.

How
to go?
By Car
From Ubon Ratchathani, take the sealed road to Sri Muang Ampur for about 90 kms. Then continue to Ban Na lern around 19 kms. It is an unsealed but all-weather road. The waterfall is only about 1 km
away.
