General Information
Khao Lam Sing Forest Park located in Parlane-Klongphlew National Reserved Forest, Banggachai Sub-district, Lamsing District, Chanthaburi Province. It is about 9,500 Rais (15.2 square kilometers) and has been declared a forest park by the Royal Forest Department since October 25, 1983.
Topography
The area consists of small mountains jutted out into the sea; some areas are beaches, islands such as Nomsao Island and Chula Island. It is mangrove forest on the mountains high 0-172 meters above mean sea level. The area, located in the eastern part of the Gulf of Thailand, always has sea breeze which also causes rain regularly. The temperature is about 25-30 degrees
Celsius.
Flora and Fauna
The main plants are Krabog (Simaroubaceae), Krabarg (Dipterocarpaceae), Yangdang (Dipterocarpus alatus), black plum, julutong, wide mangosteen, tamarind and Shorea. The shrubberies are Palmae family, such as, Caryota, and ferns. There are the narrow lines of trees along the beaches, especially has Casuarina equisetifolia, tropical almond, and coral tree on the western side of Lam Sing Mountain, Nomsao Island, and Chula
Island.
Mammals found today are small-size animal such as, mouse deer, wild boar, porcupine, hare, squirrel, bamboo rat, mole rat, crab-eating macaque. Birds are spotted dove, red-headed trogon, lesser and greater coucal, swallow, and many kinds of kingfisher. Reptiles are Indian monitor, land monitor, tree lizard, skink, and sea turtle. Aquatic Lives are snapper, Indian mackerel, chub mackerel, mullet, shrimp, squid, and many kinds of crab and shellfish. There also are coral lines along the beaches and surrounded Nomsao
Island.

How to go?
By Car
There are two convenient ways to get there. The first way is 350 kilometers from Bangkok to Chanthaburi Province and to Lam Sing District, and 400 meters on boat to the Forest Park Office. The second way is 280 kilometers from Bangkok to Tharmai District, and 25 kilometers along the road Tharmai-Banggachai.
