General Information
San Kala Kiri National Park, located in Sabayoy District, Song Khla Province, covers Toa Thep Mountain National Forest Reserve, Khao Tan Forest Reserve, Kwan Chedi Forest, Praya Mai Forest, Kwan Kham Pang Forest, Kwan Rasor Forest Reserve, Kwan Nam Ron Forest, Kwan Sor Ror Forest, Bang Pla Forest and Toa Thep forest. The area is about 133,887 Rais or 214 squares kilometers, has many interesting plants and animals, and has naturally unique places such as waterfall, cave, The Pha Rain Forest, and peat swam forest which is about 300 Rai.
This area generally consists of complicated mountains which is the border between Thailand and Malaysia, and the source of river of The Pha
area.
Climate
The weather in this area is two seasons which is rainy season and summer.
Flora and Fauna
The area consists of rain forest because there are economically valuable plants such as Malabar ironwood, Red Meranti, Hard wood, Malacca Teak etc.
Animals found are small and medium size mammals, birds, reptiles and insect. The rare and valuable animals are seladang, mountain goat, red head elephant, roulroul, wreathed hornbill, Oriental pied hornbill, Malayan rhinoceros hornbill, great pied hornbill and great Indian hornbill for
examples.
Ban Sea Hui
This area is unique for its history. There was a big community, more than 100 years ogo, on hundreds of Rais, surrounded with mountains and rivers. The community in the middle of the forest had been destroyed by plague. The original people in this area are Thai people who, lived in Sai Buri District, Malaysia, were in search for new home and found three plains in the border between Thailand and Malaysia at border stone 39 40 called Ban Mara Nuea Ban Mara
Tai.
Kradook Cave
One kilometer from Sea Hui Village, the cave has its inside a big hall which can stay 50 people. The bones of people of 100 years ago have been kept in this
cave.
Puang Cave
It is a naturally beautiful limestone-cave which, in every year, has many beehives at the jutted stone over the cave. The scenery around the area is very
fine.
Bang Thepa
Bang The Pha causes by two rivers, Lam Lord and Klong The Pha, meet each other bringing sedimentary sand and soil piling up to be large plain and
beach.

How to go?
By Car
Traveler can use national road number 43 (Song Khla Pattani) to Saba Yoy District, and from Saba Yoy District go along to Yaha District passing Baan Hoay for another 40 kilometers to San Kala Kiri National Parks office.
