Khao Ta Monglai Forest Park
General Information
Khao Ta Monglai Forest Park located in Khao Ta Monglai National Reserve Forest, Aawnoi Sub-district, Muang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is 862 Rais (1.37 square kilometers) and has been declared a forest park by the Royal Forest Department since September 11, 1997.
Topography
The park consists of two mountain ranges which located 290-320 meters above mean sea level, and slope more than 35 degrees. Most of the area are high cliffs and some of which jutted into the
sea.
Flora and Fauna
The forest in the mountains is mixed deciduous forest has slope more than 35 degree, and on the beaches is swamp forest and bamboo forest. Plants in the area are Lagerstroemia, iron wood, Salao, bamboo, mangrove, Myesenacear, and beach morning glory for example. Animals found are mountain goat, wide boar, mouse deer, common palm civet, fishing cat and red jungle
fowl.
Tourist Attractions
Sight-seeing point on Ta Monglai Mountain Range has beautiful sceneries. Travelers can see the gulf and the city of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. There are also high cliffs jutted into the
gulf.

How to go?
By Car
Use national road number 4, turn left at 326-kilometer-stone to enter Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and use Suanson Road 7 kilometers to Monglai Village.
