Pran Buri Forest Park
General Information
Pranburi Forest Park located in Klongkao-Klongkob National Reserve Forest, Pranburi Distrtict, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is 1,984 Rais (3.17 square kilometers). It is the Forest Development Plan of Paknum Pranburi in accordance with Her Majesty Queen Sirikits wish. The area has been declared a forest park by the Royal Forest Department since September 30, 1982.
Topography
Pranburi Forest Park consists of mixed forest and mangrove forest. It has naturally beautiful sceneries and beaches. Pranburi River also runs through the middle of the
forest.
Climate
The weather of the forest is influenced by monsoon and land breeze. It consists of three
seasons.
1. Rainy Season June to middle of November
2.Winter middle of November to February
3. Summer March to May
Tourist Attractions
Pranburi Forest Park consists of mixed forest and mangrove forest. It has naturally beautiful sceneries and beaches. The Pranburi River runs through the middle of the forest. There are fisherman village, called Paknum Pranburi Khaotao (Pranburi-Khaotao estuary), and Samroyyod National Park nearey. These are appropriate and convenient places to
visit.

beach.

How to go?
By Car
There are two convenient ways to get there. 1. Use old Phetchakasem Road from Huahin. At 16 kilometers from Huahin, there has a sign guide left to Pranburi Forest Park 4 kilometers. 2. Use the new road Chaum-Pranburi. Before entering Pranburi, turn left at the junction of three roads called Samyak Phetchakasem. And along the road to Huahin about 8 kilometers, there has a byroad at the right and a sign point to Pranburi Forest Park 4 kilometers.
